Spring is on its way!

I am really enjoying the days beginning to get brighter...the clarity in the light.  It will be nice when it is a little warmer, but for the moment, I'll take the cold crisp days.

Of course, these clear days make for lovely reflections in the water, which I've taken full advantage of.

'The Pill' 

This painting is inspired by a view I see a lot and it always looks different each time.  This particular occasion was a lovely crisp day, the tide was in and with no wind, the reflections were stunning.  

'The Point'

This is a view from my regular walk route, and on a still day like this one, the sea becomes like a mirror.  This was a peaceful morning walk to clear the mind before starting the day off, and it really did the trick, a serene, calm sea to be alone with your thoughts.
