As christmas 2023 is well and truly under way, I'm finding myself reflecting on the year and all that it has held. We finally got my studio put together and since then, there has been lots of printmaking and painting happening. I feel like for the first time, my press and I have become better acquainted, the pressure has been magically much better - long may it continue. I'm hoping that 2024 will be even more creative, I am looking forward to continuing to develop my reduction linoprinting, while beginning some collagraph work. I have lots of new ideas and with the quietening of the the makers' markets at the beginning of the year, I cannot wait to experiment. At all the craft fairs that I have done in the past few months, the continued question has been whether I do printmaking workshops....so that is one idea that I am going to work on.
