Fixing problems - one way or another

This is a short video showing one method of 'fixing' an issue that I recently had with my sunflower reduction linoprint. After spending a little bit of time brainstorming my blobby bumblebee (part of which was do I just leave it as a blob!) I decided that there was a solution that was worth a try. I enjoy these process videos, I often meet people who cannot work out how a linoprint actually happens and this is one way in being able to see it a little more clearly hopefully...also to see that it nearly always doesn't go according to plan. I sometimes wonder if I am the only printmaker who is always surprised at the outcome of a print. I mean, I have a plan, but peeling back the paper from the lino block always has me holding my breath...and that of course is why I do it!
