Another offering from my trip to the flower fields at Dreenhill Farm. This is two ink layers down of a reduction linoprint. I used a very thin layer of ink, using plenty of extender to create each layer. It is easy to feel doubtful when you see the thin layer of ink on the plate, as it appears to be too subtle, however the effect is striking and as it happens, just right for the development of the colours in this print. third and fourth ink layer down a little more carving... And this is where it stands at the moment, I probably won't do too much more, perhaps a little definition here and there, but I am enjoying the simplicity of the design.
