Taking stock

I am normally a big advocate of September and the feelings of new year, new beginnings, all based around the way I felt going into a new school/college year...I suppose the habit has remained as I have worked in schools.

Somehow this September passed me by and whether that registered or not, I've been feeling a need for something new just recently.  The chance of an escape away from the everyday, a week's holiday in the sun, has given a chance to have a reset and time to think.

I find myself missing some aspects of creating and that my spare time has been a bit misplaced.

I'm glad that I've had the space to take stock...and now I can make the changes.

Still playing a bit with watercolours, but hoping to get back to doing some painting with oils, so watch this space.
