...and there's more...

So last week's painting is now framed and I took it out in the garden to get some photographs of it. I do love these subtle pinks, the peonies a barely there pink, but even so, so much depth in the shadows.

It looks good on the wall above the sofa too. 

In fact I liked painting it so much, I descided to do it all over again...three times...

On my easel now is a triptych which I think will hopefully match up to the idea I have in my mind and could be a real beauty. They are a bit Georgia O'keefe I suppose, which was an artist I can remember learning a bit about when I was a teenager
